Starr Studios of San Francisco is a minority owned, family operated sign company that provides hand painted and vinyl signage to business owners located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have over 20 years experience in the design and manufacture of signs and graphics using a wide variety of media. The company is co-owned and operated by husband and wife Sean and Kayleigh Starr. 






Sean first started creating signs and custom painted graphics over 20 years ago while working for his father's business, Starr Custom Paint in San Antonio, Texas. A job offer led to relocating in Seattle, Washington where Sean worked with several sign companies including Karagrafic servicing clients such as Microsoft, Crate & Barrel and Freightliner Trucks. 






Sean was then offered a management position at ABC Sun Control in Tacoma where he operated the graphics department and executed multiple large scale projects with the Port of Tacoma and a variety of Tacoma and Seattle based companies and specializing in 3M Frosted and Dusted film projects. Sean was trained in color theory and large format graphics at 3M's headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. 






In 2006 Sean relocated to San Francisco, established Starr Studios and executed a variety of national art projects, including painting events at 11 wineries in Napa Valley. Sean's abstract paintings have been exhibited in galleries across the United States, and he is the author of several books related to art that have received critical acclaim.

Hours






Starr Studios of San Francisco is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, weekends are spent with family and friends. Our studio is not open to the public at this time. 






Terms






Starr Studios of San Francisco requires a 50% deposit on all projects prior to production. Balance is due on all projects upon substantial completion of project as described within project specifications.






Environmental Policy






One of the greatest gifts we have in the San Francisco Bay Area is the abundance of diversity in the natural environment that surrounds us. We spend the majority of our recreation time exploring the Botanical Gardens at Golden Gate Park where Sean sketches the plant life and Kayleigh adds to her ever growing collection of nature photos. We encourage our customers to take advantage of sustainable sign products whenever possible, as well as the use of traditional sign-crafting processes like paint on wood as opposed to plastics and vinyls. 






Warranties






Starr Studios of San Francisco does hereby warrant and guarantee all labor and material incorporated into the project by Starr Studios of San Francisco and its subcontractors. Starr Studios of San Francisco guarantees all contracted items purchased to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion. 






Starr Studios of San Francisco will repair or replace, to the satisfaction of the Owner, any and all work which may prove to be defective within warranty period. 






This Warranty-Guarantee is limited to defects in workmanship and materials for the period stated above and does not include defects and deterioration due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect or lack of maintenance.
