Welcome to PIER 39 in San Francisco

PIER 39, San Francisco's Premier Bay Attraction, is a festival marketplace featuring 110 specialty shops and 12 full-service Bay view restaurants serving fresh seafood, California cuisine, and casual fare.

PIER 39's location provides the picture perfect backdrop for postcard views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the City skyline. PIER 39 is located two blocks east of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, at Beach Street and The Embarcadero, with convenient parking in the PIER 39 Garage directly across from the Entrance Plaza.

Sea Lions

There's a multitude of fun with attractions and live entertainment to amuse all ages, including the world-renowned sea lions, located at K-Dock. Watch these "Sea Lebrities" on our sea lion web cam!

Live Entertainment

Enjoy free, live entertainment in the Entrance Plaza and Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water Center Stage located behind the San Francisco Carousel. Multi-talented tricksters, magicians, jugglers, comedians and musicians delight visitors daily. Shows are held throughout the day.

Theatre

Laugh at the heartwarming romantic musical comedy, “Insignificant Others”, Playing at Theatre 39. This musical follows five friends who move to San Francisco from the Midwest. It was awarded Best Original Musical Script by the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle in 2006. Group rates available for parties of 8 or more, and special dinner and show packages are available.

Cruises

Cruise the San Francisco Bay or to Angel Island aboard Blue & Gold Fleet, offering visitors an opportunity to see the City's breathtaking views and surrounding marine beauty. Motorcoach tours also available.

Aquarium of the Bay

Visit Aquarium of the Bay and discover San Francisco Bay's fascinating marine life. Explore the wonders of the Bay as you walk through 300-feet of crystal clear tunnels surrounded by sharks, eels, octopuses and thousands of marine animals indigenous to its waters.

Kid Rides

Experience 3-D and 4-D adventures on Turbo Ride, where the seats move in sync with the action on the screen. Ride the two-tier San Francisco Carousel or visit Riptide Arcade, the largest games arcade in San Francisco, which features an award-winning prize redemption center packed with great incentive prizes.
