Our goal is simple; we want to bring to you art and design related items that we like and hopefully you will like too. We work hard to find items we think are interesting and sometimes inspiring. Whether that item is an art book, design object, t-shirt, dvd, etc.., the questions we ask ourselves are Would we own it? Is it well made? And Is it unique? Editorial Review Park Life Out of the Park By Aaron Davidson (02/15/2008)" Posters. Prints. Paperweights. Paperbacks. Piggy banks. Postcards. Pillboxes. The Petit Pattern book. It's only appropriate that the store housing such miscellany be named Park Life (emphasis on the first consonant). Opened in 2006 on Clement near 3rd Ave. in the Inner Richmond, Park Life provides a fresh take on art and design, creating a space where affordable goods meet adventurous designs. " |
Editorial Review Holiday Shopping Anti-Chain Store Holiday Roundup By Jialin Luh (12/06/2007)" The simultaneously dreaded and excitedly anticipated holiday shopping season is upon us. Before you succumb to elbowing your way through throngs of aggressive deal-seekers at the mall, consider some alternative avenues for procuring unique and thoughtful gifts. The next two weekends will be key. Tomorrow kicks off KPFA’s Crafts & Music Fair and Sunday marks the next installment of Mission Indie-mart. Next Thursday, Dec13th, the charming smattering of shops on Clement between 4th Ave and Arguello will extend their business hours to 9pm. Next Saturday, Dec 15th, Bazaar Bizarre touches down in Golden Gate Park. " |
