Proceeds from this event go to Generation Five, an Oakland-based non-profit organization that aims to end child sexual abuse. Generation Five addresses the traumatic impact of child sexual abuse on individuals, families, and communities while supporting individual and collective resilience. www.generationfice.org

The music of San Francisco trio Paranoids "has evolved dramatically since the release of their first EP, 'The Party's Over.' Paranoids feed you your dirty-guitar rock and serve it up with a creepy, macabre twist. They take cues from the post-punks, dragging out the odd dance beat or warped, menacing synth. They evoke dramatic flourishes of bygone glitter-glam days. The eclectic mix is tied together by singer Daemon's uniquely nasal rants."
