Mimi Barr Gallery represents emerging and under-supported artists whose work expands beyond the standard of their chosen medium. Through our various gallery programs and projects our goal is to bring together artists, and their peers, while creating an environment which is approachable for a diverse audience. Mimi Barr Gallery hosts nine group shows each year, inviting artists and curators from the Bay Area and throughout the country to participate in various projects and site specific installations. In addition to the main exhibition area, Mimi Barr’s project room, window installation space, and store offer unique opportunities for artists to expand beyond the traditional white cube.
