About Make-Out Room

A great place to grab a beer, chill with a friend and mingle with a very diverse group of locals. The Make-Out Room serves up some great cocktails and has a long bar and a lounge area in the back where candle lit tables abound. A lush draped curtain adorns the stage where local bands play on Sunday nights. The Make-Out Room is a great place to take a date or hang with a friend, but make sure to come by during the weekday because the weekends can get busy.

Calexico
An Eclectic Mix
By Matt Forsman (01/27/2006)

" Calexico appears to be stealing a page out of Ryan Adams' book in releasing their second album, Garden Ruin, in scarcely five months. While Calexico's December 2005 album, The Book and the Canal was an eclectic mix of live material, low fi recordings, and new studio recordings, Garden Ruin is a full length studio album of new material. With nearly a decade under their belts, Calexico has managed to acquire a solid following with a sound that amalgamates jazz, folk, country, mariachi, and a plethora of genres in between. "

Interview: The Ebb and Flow Image
Interview: The Ebb and Flow
By Jeremy Sampson (05/14/2004)

" SF Station is debuting a new Q&A feature profiling local musicians. The idea is to provide our readers with an introduction to rising Bay Area artists, as well a greater sense for what life is like in the trenches of our city's dense music scene. First up: The Ebb and Flow.

It's fitting that our first Q&A features a band whose name means back and forth: The Ebb and Flow. More appropriate still is how neatly the band's sound befits their chosen name "
