LuLu's is a showcase for Provençal cooking featuring a wood-fired oven, rotisserie and grill. The rustic, unpretentious fare is served family-style, adding a nice to the touch to dining experience. (Personal, relaxing touches are often lacking at many SoMa restaurants).

A busy, active place that bustles with social city dwellers. Dishes are all served family-style in a spacious, almost barn-like dining room. Note: The oven cooked mussels are a must.

There's also a lively bar scene on the weekends. A contributor to that is the fact that LuLu's features a separate wine bar offering more than 70 selections by the glass. Now that's a definite invitation to stop in to try a wine you haven't tried in the past.
