Kenneth Cole used to be synonymous with pricey footwear for men and women. But as the company has grown and prices for shoes in general have risen, Kenneth Cole seem to be a better bargain. The quality is unfaltering and the styles range from the classic desert boot to formal dress shoes.

That said, some of Kenneth Cole's designs have become a bit blasé, especially compared to some of the independent shops in Hayes Valley and Pacific Heights.
