Description
Native American artist and artistic director Eddie Madril brings his vision to the stage with the collaboration of talented local artists, craftspeople, and designers representing various native regions and nations/tribes of North America—from Alaska, the Northwest Coast, California, the Southwest, the Plains, the Northeast, and the Southeast regions.
During this evening’s unique presentation, we will experience the influence of traditional Native regalia on fashion through history. Music, storytelling, dance, and the catwalk come together to reflect the culture and beauty of American Indian people through historical and contemporary reflections of style, and to examine the role clothing plays in expressing individuality, family, and community.
