A slick, old west reminder of a time long since past. Founded in 1933, Gold Dust Lounge is definitely one of San Francisco's landmarks, although it has been criticized as being a tourist trap by some locals.

The mural on the ceilings and the framed currency in the bar gives the lounge its unique flavor. Gold Dust Lounge caters more to an older crowd but is also frequented by young people who love to listen to dixieland jazz which is featured almost nightly.
