An extensive renovation has revitalized the Franciscan, a Fisherman’s Wharf institution since 1957. Mahogany walls and ceilings and twenty-foot windows overlook the bay and Alcatraz. Terraced dining in red leather booths, hand blown glass shades, black and white photos of celebrity patrons adorn the stairs and walls.
