A survivor of the notorious townhouse explosion tells her story for the first time. With an honesty and candor that challenges and contradicts other histories of this period, Wilkerson describes coming into consciousness as a political activist and a feminist, joining first the Civil Rights Movement, then Students for a Democratic Society, and finally the Weather Underground. Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz joins her.
