Description
Roxi Power Hamilton has gathered trans-genre works of literature in the pages of "Viz. Inter-arts Anthology." Tonight a handful of the makers of these hybrid works take the stage, screen and mic to show how the several arts thrive in these parts by crossbreeding.

Dore Bowen will discuss the Fluxus event score and lead several brief performances.

Highlighting the SF Bay Area revival of the art of live film narration, Mac McGinnes will reprise Norma Cole's neo-benshi script to a scene from "Judex" (1963), and Maxine Chernoff and Paul Hoover will premiere their piece to scenes from "Point Blank" (1967).

Dean Smith's video to Robert Glück's poem "Aliengnosis" and Konrad Steiner's montage accompaniment to a section recorded from Leslie Scalapino's book "way" will be screened

Rounding out the evening, a performance of Tristan Tzara's polylingual simultaneous poem "The Admiral Looks for a House to Rent," and a spontaneous video treasure from the American Poetry Archives.
