Description
Jorge Luis Borges, the Argentine poet, essayist, and short-story writer, was not a Jew, but identified deeply with the Jewish experience, frequently using Jewish themes and symbolism in his writing. Dan Schifrin will explore these themes in the work of Borges and some of his modernist contemporaries.
