| Description Launched in 2003, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup - and is now the biggest mashup event in the world. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation - with free mashup CDs given away like candy!
Resident DJs Adrian, the Mysterious D, and Party Ben keep your brain guessing and your feet dancing with creative song combinations, while live house band Smash-Up Derby rocks the house every month at 11 PM. Guest mashup DJs from around the world are featured, while the infamous midnight mashup show showcases popular local drag and burlesque performers. Bootie... because one song at a time just isn't enough. This month, live on stage, it's San Francisco's own Party Ben, spinning a special feature set right after midnight. In the upstairs lounge, DJ Jay-R hosts the '90s Mashup Room, spinning only bootlegs from the '90s. And making their Bootie midnight mashup show debut, it's the SF Boylesque dance troupe! Smash-Up Derby performs live at 11pm Midnight mashup show by Anna Conda Free mash-up CDs to the first 100 people through the door! Bootie is now twice a month: Every 2nd & 4th Saturday! |
