| Description On Thursday November 5th at the Make-Out Room in San Francisco, D’Ambrosio and several outstanding Bay Area musicians will come together to bring this story of Cash’s most controversial album to life through readings and songs.
Author Antonino D’Ambrosio to read, local bands, Sean Hayes, Tiny Television, Yard Sale and Billy and Dolly to perform. After-Party with DJ Foodcourt and his Pals, and appearance by legendary rock photographer Jim Marshall. A Heartbeat and a Guitar: Johnny Cash and the Making of Bitter Tears Revealing the untold story of Cash's most controversial album in word and song. This year marks the 45th anniversary of the controversial protest album Johnny Cash made in support of Native American rights. |
